Stepping onto a Dawning (new) Path: One Breath at a Time

Well, here I go…

New year…
New day…
New path…

My brother once asked me if I’m a squirrel or a monkey. A monkey waits for the next safe branch, while the squirrel just leaps! Back then, I was definitely a monkey — happy to wait and enjoy a banana. But not anymore! I think I’ve found my inner squirrel as I embrace a new path as an independent business owner and full-time Body–Mind Therapist (C-IAYT) and Educator.

Starting something new can feel exciting — and a little scary. Our minds often focus on what could go wrong, while our hearts quietly whisper about what’s possible. Fear is natural, but it doesn’t have to stop us.

When we slow down, take a breath, and tune into the intelligence of our body–mind connection, we can feel what our bodies truly need and trust the guidance of our hearts. Noticing the sensations in our body, the rhythm of our breath, and the gentle pull of curiosity or excitement creates a stable, grounded platform to take the next step.

The key? One breath. One step. Each small move forward becomes a ripple, building confidence, clarity, and courage. Trust that your body, mind, and heart already know how to guide you along any dawning path — you just need to step into it.

So… ready to take a leap and try a new path? Take a deep breath and channel your inner squirrel!

And while you’re at it, join me at Dawning Path – Wellness & Education for your wellness needs: nervous system resets, body–mind therapy, yoga-based classes, sound baths, YTT training, workplace wellness, and more! Each month, I’ll share a new Body–Mind strategy or topic to guide us on the path to more ease, joy, and balance in daily life.

On the Dawning Path!
