This 10-hour continuing education course provides yoga therapists with a practical, adaptable framework to support clients navigating mental wellness challenges. Drawing on yoga therapy principles, nervous system regulation, and integrative mind–body practices, the training equips participants to guide clients from stress and anxiety to greater confidence, emotional resilience, and a renewed sense of joy and balance.

The course introduces the ABC to Happier, Healthier Me, a process-based approach that empowers clients to better utilize yoga therapy strategies without revealing the proprietary steps. Using this framework, therapists learn how to support clients in:

  • Reducing stress and emotional overwhelm

  • Managing anxiety and low mood

  • Cultivating inner confidence and resilience

  • Enhancing overall wellbeing and life satisfaction

Participants will explore practical applications of yoga therapy tools—including assessment-informed practices, pacing, co-regulation, and therapeutic presence—while respecting scope of practice, ethical standards, and client-centered care. The ABC’s to Super ME; Helping Children Regulate Big Energy/Emotions through Yoga Therapy

The ABC’s to Super Me is a 10-hour continuing education course designed for yoga therapists who want to support children’s emotional regulation, resilience, and self-awareness through developmentally appropriate, evidence-informed yoga therapy practices. Approved for IAYT CE credit, this course equips participants with practical strategies grounded in neuroscience, polyvagal theory, and mind–body education.

The training introduces a simple, child-friendly framework:

  • AWARE – noticing sensations, emotions, and energy

  • BREATHE – using breath to regulate and reset

  • CHOOSE – cultivating choice, agency, and self-trust

Participants will learn to adapt yoga therapy techniques—including breath strategies, movement, visualization, and guided language—to support children across developmental stages. Emphasis is placed on therapeutic presence, safety, empowerment, nervous system literacy, and playful engagement, while respecting the roles of caregivers, educators, and therapists in a child’s ecosystem.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Integrate a structured, client-centered framework for supporting children’s emotional and behavioral regulation

  • Apply assessment-informed, developmentally appropriate yoga therapy interventions
