Private Body–Mind Therapeutic Sessions

Private sessions offer personalized, one-on-one support grounded in nervous system awareness and embodied practice. Sessions are attuned, collaborative, and paced to your individual needs. Body-Mind Therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga. The body may “keep score” and yoga based practices such as breath work and somatic or gentle movement help us to befriend the body and learn how to navigate and release trauma, stress and other challenges that come with living a human experience. The mind may be noisy or negative and yoga based strategies such as mindfulness or meditation, learning about the nervous system and the vagus nerve provide tools for calming the mind chatter and rewiring new neural pathways. The heart may feel disconnected and yoga based experiences can facilitate a better understanding of Self.

Sessions may include:

  • Gentle movement and yoga-based therapy

  • Breath and regulation practices

  • Body awareness and somatic tools

  • Sound, guided imagery, or deep rest practices such as Yoga Nidra, guided relaxation or meditation

  • Nature-informed approaches when appropriate

Private sessions are offered in a clinical setting and are suitable for those seeking therapeutic support without a purely talk-based approach.

Super Me Sessions for Children

Body-Mind Therapy for children can help with: self-regulation, focus, anxiousness, self confidence and overall physical and mental wellbeing. Body-Mind Therapy can help children learn to regulate their energy, emotions and responses to stress, anxiety, anger as well as other mental health conditions. It helps children cultivate a body-mind connection. I currently support children in my office space in Annandale, MN, at the local schools in Annandale and in homes. Watch for SUPER ME SATURDAYS! One Saturday a month, I run sessions back to back in order to offer sessions at the lowest fee possible. Sessions with children are generally most effective IN PERSON.

No Drama Family Sessions

These sessions help families navigate big emotions, conflicts, and everyday challenges with calm, connection, and clarity. Drawing on Dr. Dan Siegel’s work and my training as a body-mind therapist, I guide parents and children in practices that support emotional regulation, mindful communication, and stronger family bonds.

Each session provides practical tools and embodied strategies to help families respond — rather than react — creating a more peaceful, joyful home environment. I highly recommend committing to 3-6 sessions to build your “toolbox.”

Somatic Healing Sessions for Chronic Pain

Somatic Healing is a body centered therapeutic practice that places importance on what we experience in the mind and the body and the connection between the two. It involves focus on internal movement which builds your interoception (self sensing) ability. The goal is to help you get in tune with yourself and relearn to befriend the body and release and navigate pain.

Sound Healing Sessions

Sound healing is an ancient wellness practice that has been used across different cultures for many centuries. Two major forms of sound healing techniques are sound baths and vibrational sound therapy. Sound vibrations have a pretty powerful effect on our minds and bodies. Research shows us that sound healing can slow down our brain waves and put our bodies in a very relaxed state which may alleviate anxiousness, ease pain and increase overall sense of physical and mental wellness.

Reiki Sessions

As a Usui Reiki Master, I offer gentle, hands-on (or hands off) energy sessions designed to restore balance, calm the nervous system, and support overall wellbeing. Reiki encourages the body’s natural healing processes, helping to release stress, tension, and energetic blocks.

Whether you’re navigating life transitions, chronic stress, or simply seeking a moment of deep relaxation and renewal, Reiki can support physical, mental, and emotional harmony. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, creating a safe and nurturing space for healing and self-care.
